Nice Portuguese restaurant with good service and excellent atmosphere. It'll be perfect only if the seafood is fresher. And I don't think it's the chefs problem.
I can tell this is a super authentic Portuguese restaurant. Spacious restaurant with lots of seat. We came for the seafood rice which is of a such great portion (it can easily feed 4 people!). If this is what you are looking for I would recommend invite a few friends over to share. There were lots of seafood in the rice for sure, taste gives me a home feeling.
Really good food :) Also, full of Portuguese people! Which I think is a guarantee :) Some waiters don’t even speak English There was a football match going on, people were so loud! Authentic experience, definitely recommended
Went here today first time for Mother’s Day as we are all Portuguese. Table booked at 4pm , we stood waiting at the bar , no one approached us!! We had to ask someone for help. Sat down , eventually ordered two starters and 4 mains with drinks. It took over an hour to get two starters. And that’s only when I complained to the waiter that two people who came in after us were eating their food order and yet we still didn’t have our starter. It doesn’t make sense to still be waiting for our food when people after us have already got their food delivered. I don’t like complaining but I had to as it was now 5pm and we hadn’t eaten anything. Three mains arrived and four eventually. Chips were too hard and chicken too salty. I was very disappointed with this restaurant as I read the reviews and they all read well. I certainly wouldn’t recommend that after today. Service lacking , regardless it being busy. Food okayish. Big portion for a decent price and very tasty. Not much atmosphere but the food counter acts that! Good cheap house wine - would recommend and would come back
